We have overseas offices in Hong Kong, India and Dubai. We propose some changes to align the way the organization works with modern governance practices. The proposed changes will be voted by the members as part of the proposal for the CII AGM recommendation on June 26, 2019. While many of the changes have been simplified and clarified, there have been some major changes, particularly with regard to the revision of the CII board structure; it is increasingly necessary for the board to have the skills, experience and diversity to meet future challenges. Diversity means difference, that is, different protection characteristics and different ways of thinking. Inclusive means that everyone is included, regardless of their differences.
